"The majority of students at our school did not have access to a computer in their homes and the families of our students did not know how to use the Internet... Comp2Kids conducted six computer distribution sessions for students and their families in which 300 computers were distributed and valuable computer training sessions were conducted. They also distributed about 80 laptops to our teachers. The program was quite successful. Now we can provide our students with a technology education that equips them with the tools they need to be successful in high school and beyond... thanks to the Comp2Kids program."

To be eligible for the Comp2Kids program, partner schools must be:

Public middle school serving grades 6-8
Title 1 public school; majority of student population eligible for free lunch
School leadership must be committed to the use of technology as expressed in the school's Comprehensive Education Plan (CEP)
