Organize a computer recycling event in your community!
The Community Computer Collection Project is a new initiative that is seeking opportunities to work with schools, religious organizations, residential buildings, employee groups and other organizations to organize electronics recycling events.

Community Recycling Events:
  • Put working computers into the homes of families in low income communities so they can reap the benefits of the digital age
  • Keep e-waste out of the landfills
  • Stop the shipment of electronic waste to countries with less stringent environmental standards
Per Scholas:
  • Works with community organizations to create events
  • Manages the pickup and transport of all electronic equipment
  • Recycles computers and electronic equipment at our recycling facility in the South Bronx
  • Makes reconditioned computers available to children and families in low income communities at the lowest possible cost
Help us continue to bridge the digital divide in our communities!
