Since 1996, Per Scholas has trained over 1,900 New York City residents in our intensive, hands-on computer and office-equipment training program. Our philosophy is different from many computer training organizations. We do not believe in having you spend countless hours reading books and manuals - our training is hands-on.

Our patient and understanding instructors work hard to make every minute of your instruction relevant and focused on practical, real world exercises. In addition to our training course, we provide workshops on resume writing, job search strategies, interviewing and communication skills to give you the tools you need to find the job you want. At the end of your training, you will also have the opportunity to obtain additional skills and work experience through an internship.

Each Per Scholas instructor is an expert educator dedicated to your success. Our curriculum prepares you for the A+ Certification test, the industry standard that opens the door to advancement. Once you pass, which 75% of our students do, you are qualified for several technical and computer repair positions, some of which are listed here.

Upon graduation, our career placement officers assist with your job search from beginning to end. In many cases, graduates find work with employers who come to Per Scholas because of our reputation for producing high quality technicians.
