Eligible With VDI

Learners' devices in select training tracks may still be eligible if their computer does not meet all minimum requirements listed above.

What is VDI? VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) is a virtual computer you access over the internet. Per Scholas provides VDI to eligible learners whose devices fall short of full requirements. If VDI is available for your course, staff will send setup instructions after enrollment.

Table listing which Per Scholas courses require VDI based on processor or RAM, showing that Intel i3/Ryzen 3 or 8–12 GB RAM need VDI for IT Support, Healthcare IT Technician, Data Center Technician with AI Tools, Cybersecurity, AI Native Software Development, and AI Native Business Intelligence, with notes that some are remote only or hybrid with campus equipment required.

Apple Silicon Mac Compatibility

Apple Silicon Mac computers include M1, M2, M3, and newer M-series devices. These computers are only supported for select courses.

Enrollment is not guaranteed for all applicants.

We do not recommend purchasing new equipment for our courses.
