Attendance Policy

Our courses have a strict attendance requirement. Be sure to review the information below to familiarize yourself with expectations regarding course attendance.

Definitions

  • Tardy = Missing less than 50% of class
  • Absence = Missing more than 50% of class

    Exceeding allowed absences or tardies may result in dismissal from the cohort.
    Maximum allowed absences and tardies:
Table showing attendance policy: for classes 18+ weeks — 4 allowed absences and 5 allowed tardies; 15–17 weeks — 3 absences and 4 tardies; 12–14 weeks — 2 absences and 3 tardies; less than 12 weeks — 1 absence and 2 tardies.

Schedule Attendance Policy

  • Monday-Friday, typically from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm 
  • Breaks:
    • 15-minute break in AM and in PM
    • One-Hour Lunch Break
  • Expect at least 15 – 20 hours per week of additional individual study time outside of class hours.
  • Even if remote, full-time courses are live & instructor-led. Remote does not equal self-paced. 
    • Attendance policy is same in Remote/Hybrid as In-Person. 
    • Camera must be on during remote courses.
  • Learners are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes early to class.
