Per Scholas opens doors for people who are ready to walk through them. To enroll in Per Scholas immersive career training, you must:
- Be 18 or older
- Live within the eligible service area for one of our campuses or qualify for National Remote training
- Have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Have valid proof of U.S. Work Authorization
- Meet our Pre-Training Income Criteria
- Be able to read, write, and speak English comfortably
- Be prepared to seek employment after graduation
- Remain within the U.S. for the full duration of the program, including when attending remotely

How much does Per Scholas cost?
Per Scholas immersive career training is offered at no cost to eligible learners through the support of our funders and employer partners. While tuition is covered, you'll still want to plan for personal expenses such as transportation, childcare, or living costs during training. Learn more on our Financial Resources page.
What is the admissions process?
The admissions process is designed to help ensure you're prepared for success. After applying, you'll complete each required step – including an admissions assessment, interview, eligibility verification, and any required Tech Prep Work – before receiving your enrollment decision.
Do you offer online courses?
Yes. Depending on the program and location, Per Scholas offers remote, in-person, and hybrid training options. Regardless of the format, all classes are live, instructor-led, and include attendance requirements.
Each course page identifies whether training is offered remotely, in person, or in a hybrid format. For remote programs offered through a local Per Scholas campus, you must still live within that campus's eligible service area.

Career preparation is an essential part of the Per Scholas experience. Throughout training, you'll receive professional development support – including resume reviews, interview preparation, networking, and career coaching. After graduation, qualified learners continue working with our Talent Solutions team, who connect graduates with employer partners and technology job opportunities. While employment cannot be guaranteed, we're committed to helping you prepare for and pursue a career in technology.
