Per Scholas Salesforce training moves quickly from the first day of class. Completing Salesforce Administrator Tech Prep gives you an introduction to the Salesforce platform and the digital technology concepts that serve as the foundation for your technical training.
By completing Tech Prep, you'll build familiarity with:
- Navigating the Salesforce platform
- Core customer relationship management and administrator concepts
- How connected technologies support modern organizations
- Common terminology you'll hear throughout your training
Complete this required Tech Prep before your program begins to start your training prepared, confident, and ready to learn.
What You'll Complete
This Tech Prep includes two required courses designed to prepare you for success in your Per Scholas program.
- Salesforce Admin Beginner (approximately 9 hours)
- Introduction to IoT and Digital Transformation (approximately 6 hours)

Tech Prep is always free. Per Scholas will never require you to purchase a course, subscription, certificate, platform upgrade, software, or other materials to complete required Tech Prep.
Submit Your Proof of Completion
After completing both required modules:
- Salesforce Trailhead: Capture a screenshot showing your name and completion of the Salesforce Admin Beginner trail.
- NetAcad: Download your certificate of completion for Introduction to IoT and Digital Transformation. A badge screenshot alone is not accepted.
- Upload both items using the submission portal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Tech Prep Work required?
Yes. All learners enrolled in the programs listed above must complete this Tech Prep before beginning classes.
Does it cost anything?
No. Per Scholas will never require you to pay to access or complete required Tech Prep. If a course platform prompts you to purchase a subscription, certificate, upgrade, or other paid feature, do not pay. Contact the Per Scholas Admissions team for assistance.
How long will it take?
Most learners complete Salesforce Administrator Tech Prep in approximately 15 hours (approximately 9 hours for Salesforce Admin Beginner + 6 hours for Introduction to IoT and Digital Transformation).
Can I complete it at my own pace?
Yes. You may complete the required learning on your own schedule, provided it is finished before your assigned deadline.
What if I already have Salesforce experience?
All required Tech Prep must still be completed before your program begins.
What happens if I don't complete it?
Completing your required Tech Prep is part of preparing for your program. Missing your deadline may affect your enrollment.
