Per Scholas has unveiled a new brand

Per Scholas has unveiled an evolved brand identity designed to better reflect where our organization is today and where we're going next. The evolution comes as technology, AI, and employer needs are rapidly reshaping the workforce, creating new opportunities and challenges for workers and businesses alike.

What's Changing: New Look, Sharper Focus

Per Scholas is introducing a new tagline, "Accelerating Careers. Transforming Lives.," alongside a new positioning statement, "Skills for Today. Success for Tomorrow." Both give a clearer name to work already underway across our training programs.

The shift reflects how quickly AI and employer needs are reshaping the workforce. Together, the two statements capture our commitment to preparing people with the skills they need now while helping them build careers that can evolve with the economy.

President Caitlyn Brazill frames the scope of the change directly, "This is about much more than revealing a fresh visual identity... It is an opportunity to communicate greater impact, renewed purpose, and the strategic shifts we are making to learners, employers, and funders."

Our core remains the same, with a wider scope of courses. Courses such as AI-Native Business Intelligence and Data Center Technician with AI Tools reflect how AI has transformed the industry. We chose to build AI fluency into every course we offer starting in late 2025.

That same approach shapes the custom training we build with employers. Whether a company needs to upskill its current team or bring new talent into a high-demand role, we design the curriculum around the tools, workflows, and skills its workforce requires.

Evolving with Artificial Intelligence

A year after launching courses with an AI-based focus, our Per Scholas rebrand highlights the work we've done to refresh the training employers look for. We've been preparing AI-native professionals and workforce development partners for the digital economy and building pathways into AI-resistant careers, including the physical infrastructure, data centers, energy, and manufacturing, that keep that economy running.

We help employers explore what this looks like in practice. We now have two direct resources to help employers dive deeper when they need to upskill individuals for the next generation of work.

  1. Dedicated domain pages break down the roles, training, and real employer partnerships behind each discipline.
  2. A full course catalog shows the specific curriculum and certifications behind every program.

The visual identity is new, and so are the tools to explore it.

What's Staying the Same: The Mission Hasn't Moved

Per Scholas has been focused on helping people build skills and accelerate their careers for more than 30 years, since 1995.

The mission itself, to advance economic mobility through rigorous training for tech careers, and to connect skilled talent to leading businesses, is unchanged and predates every domain and course this rebrand adds.

Everything new builds on that core value.

What Our CEO Says

Our CEO, Plinio Ayala, describes the rebrand as an evolution, saying,  "Our mission hasn't changed; the world around us has... This brand evolution gives us an opportunity to more clearly signal who we are today and the role we intend to play in shaping the workforce of the future."

Think of the Per Scholas rebrand as the organization catching up to its own growth, not redefining its purpose.

We still strive to give employers precisely what they need. Per Scholas training prepares talent for the companies that need it. We co-developed courses with our partners so our training equips professionals with the skills required on the job. They give people real-world training scenarios they can expect to experience every day.

We will continue to deliver the services our valued employer partners already know. Hire-ready talent, co-designed custom training cohorts, and cohort sponsorships all continue exactly as before to lower hiring costs, improve retention, and future-proof employees.

We have the same proven track record. We've trained more than 35,000 professionals since 1995 across 25+ campuses, all designed in collaboration with employers.

The look and feel are new, but the standards that have made Per Scholas talent worth hiring for 30 years, trained against what employers actually need, carry forward stronger than ever.

How Employers Work With Us

The way employers work with Per Scholas isn't changing. Every training path available before this announcement remains available today. There are eight core tech disciplines, each with specialized tracks.

Employers looking to hire trained talent or build a custom cohort can go directly to our employer pages. Our hire-ready talent and co-designed training programs work exactly as they did before the rebrand.

Employers looking to reskill their own workforce can explore the Career Accelerator, our upskilling program for incumbent employees. Employers can upskill a variety of workers, from a Business Intelligence Analyst to a Certified Information Systems Security Professional. We have nearly 40 Career Accelerator courses to help someone accelerate their career to the next level after obtaining a base certification.

Employers or individuals looking to engage directly with learners, through mentoring, mock interviews, or guest speaking, can visit our volunteering page to find the right opportunity.
